On Wednesday, September 25, guests gathered together for OZ Arts Nashville’s annual Beyond Bourbon: A Benefit Bash.
Proceeds from the fundraiser support the next era of performances and visual arts offerings, as well as innovative educational art offerings for youth. In a nod to the facility’s history as a converted cigar warehouse, Beyond Bourbon was inspired by the founding Ozgener family’s original cigar brand, CAO. More than 400 of Nashville’s adventurous art lovers enjoyed the party, sampling high end spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer with good company, local art, and tasty local fare provided by Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint.
Guests also had the opportunity to sample products by Ozgener Family Cigars and local artisanal favorite Crowned Heads in the venue’s beautiful gardens. Live and silent auctions at the event raised a record-breaking amount of $250,000 for OZ’s unique cultural programming and educational initiatives.
