On Thursday, December 14, guests got into the holiday spirit at an exclusive VIP whiskey tasting of Jack Daniel's Bonded Series.
The intimate event took place at The Late Great, a cozy and dimly-lit speakeasy hidden in the depths of Virgin Hotels Nashville. Guests mixed and mingled and savored warm welcome cocktails, plus BBQ brisket burnt end bites as they arrived. Byron Copeland, one of the distillery's official whiskey tasters, led the group through the tasting, where each attendee sampled three expressions in the Bonded Series: Jack Daniel's Bonded, Jack Daniel's Triple Mash, and Jack Daniel's Bonded Rye. Copeland explained the nuances of each and the history of the Bottled in Bond spirits.
Following each tasting, attendees sampled a cocktail made with each expression, plus perfectly paired delicious bites created by the Virgin Hotels Nashville culinary team. Cocktails and bites included:
