On Saturday, May 4, guests gathered together in their best derby attire to watch the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby with Woodford Reserve at The Union Station Nashville Yards.
Attendees were welcomed with a glass of Korbel bubbly and an outdoor space adorned with beautiful red roses, plus a stunning horse ice sculpture commemorating the Derby day. Delicious southern cuisine with bites like the Kentucky Burgoo, Kern's Derby Pie, Fried Chicken and Mini Waffles, Hot Browns, and more were served, plus Derby-inspired cocktails like a Woodford Reserve Mint Julep, Old Forester or Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned, Jack Daniel’s and Champagne Mint Julep, and Woodford Reserve Seelbach were sipped.
While mingling, lounging, and watching the races, guests listened to some live entertainment from Patrick Sharrow and his band, snapped some photos with Nashville Smile Bar, and participated in a best-dressed contest. One winner was awarded a two-night stay at The Union Station Nashville Yards. VIP tickets offered an elevated experience with reserved seating, gourmet food, an exclusive VIP bar with complimentary cocktail and mocktail options, plus a gift bag full of goodies.
