On September 10, Davis House Child Advocacy Center hosted their annual Button Ball.
Nearly 300 guests were in attendance. The night featured a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a dinner and conversation with guest speaker, author, entrepreneur, and pastor, Nona Jones. A live auction and dancing closed out the night, and a total of $237,000 was raised for the services and programs Davis House provides to children facing sexual or significant physical abuse and their families, all of which are provided at no cost.
The evening also featured musical performances by Nashvillian, singer/songwriter and American Idol runner-up Crystal Bowersox, plus and Bo Rinehart, a Grammy nominated musician and co- founder of multi-platinum rock band Needtobreathe.
Davis House Child Advocacy Center helps combat child abuse by providing services to children and their families in crisis and providing community education focused on prevention and early intervention. Davis House served 632 new children last year in Williamson, Hickman, Lewis, and Perry counties.
