On Saturday, April 13, the 19th annual JDRF Promise Gala presented by Change Healthcare and Envision Healthcare was held at the JW Marriott Nashville Hotel.
800 guests attended the event and raised an incredible $1,500,000 for JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes research.
Guests enjoyed a robust live and silent auction, featuring over 250 unique and sought-after items. The event was chaired by Karey & Joanie Witty of Franklin, TN, and recognized Change Healthcare as Corporate Honoree.The program was hosted by Stacy Case and the auctioneer was Jeff Randall.
The event recognized Eric Paslay as T1D Champion Award Honoree. The renowned, Platinum-selling, hit songwriter and performer took the stage to accept the award, and to speak on his impactful work as an advocate in the type 1 diabetes community.
JT Moore seventh-grader, Stella Altman, shared her personal story of living with type 1 diabetes, which brought the audience to its feet with a standing ovation.
