On Tuesday, February 26, joint venture partners Deep Cove Partners and The Gettys Group celebrated the start of construction on TownePlace Suites by Marriott, a 204 room hotel making a significant investment in the North Capitol neighborhood.
Speakers included Reeve Waud Jr., Roger Hill, Tom Onken, Sharon Hurt, and Freddie O'Connell. Refreshments for the event were provided by The Coffee Cart.
The hotel is expected to open in 2020 and will feature a 6,000-square-foot rooftop bar on the 7th floor that will operate year-round and offer visitors stunning views of downtown Nashville's growing skyline.
With a street-level coffee shop and a vibrant rooftop bar, the hotel is sure to become a destination for its neighbors as well as visitors.
