The Andrew Jackson Foundation hosted an evening with Jon Meacham at the National Archives. The event included a special presentation of selected papers from the National Archives' Jackson collection. More than 100 reception guests, including some of our nation's top opinion leaders, national business leaders and Foundation trustees, as well as Tennessee and national government and political leaders, were in attendance.
The Andrew Jackson Foundation exists to preserve the legacy of Andrew Jackson as well as his home, The Hermitage, outside of Nashville, Tennessee. The Foundation is committed to presenting the complete story of Jackson – pros and cons – as an integral part of the story of our nation.
