Community members and music-lovers gathered at Carnton on Sunday, June 24 for a night of summer fun. The Sunset Concert Series kicked off its 2018 season with music from FAB: A Beatles Tribute. Families and friends gathered on the east lawn next to Carnton for a Franklin summer evening, accompanied by beautiful weather and food offerings from Yayo's O.M.G. Tacos, Puckett's Trolley, Maggie Moos ice cream, and Retro Sno food trucks. Specialty drinks were offered, including margaritas provided by Chuy's and mint juleps. The Sunset Concert Series raises funds for the Battle of Franklin Trust, which operates Carter House and Carnton. The July concert will be held on Sunday, July 29 and will feature Resurrection: A Journey Tribute.
