On Saturday, April 27 the 27th Annual A Tennessee Waltz was held at the Tennessee State Capitol.
The evening benefitted the Tennessee State Museum Foundation and was dedicated to the Honorable Bill Lee, 50th Governor of Tennessee.
"The Tennessee Waltz" was performed during dinner by Dr. Ming Wang, violinist, with accompanist Carlos Enrique on classical guitar.
This year, The Tennessee State Museum Foundation partnered with Nashville Opera to perform the song and present selections from “Popera!” Brent Hetherington and Darius Thomas performed the event’s signature tune together before Hetherington performed “If Ever I Would Leave You” from Camelot and Thomas performed Bring Him Home from Les Miserables.
