*Stay tuned for a rescheduled gala date.
The holidays may be over, but that doesn’t mean the season of giving should come to an end.
As an organization that continues to give all year long, Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee’s Stars for Wishes gala returns to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for its ninth year. Emceed by local wish kids, this annual fundraiser is sure to be an amazing night benefitting an even more amazing cause.
The Stars for Wishes gala will feature a lineup of some of the best food, entertainment, and more that Music City has to offer. The evening includes outstanding performances by Connor McCutcheon along with another yet-to-be announced musical guest, a silent auction filled with plenty of exciting items, and a menu created by Top Chef alum Chef Jamie Lynch, of Church and Union Nashville.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, and will be followed by the program beginning at 7 p.m. After the gala, guests can keep the good times rolling at a Late Party presented by Richards Bespoke, which kicks off at 9:30 p.m. Tickets to both the gala and the Late Party are on sale now, and access to the Late Party is included with the purchase of a gala ticket. Additionally, tickets to the Late Party can be purchased individually by those not attending the gala.
At the heart of this fun-filled evening is the mission behind it all— making children’s wishes come true. The 2022 Stars for Wishes gala benefits Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, which together with its community of support creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Since it was first founded in 2000, Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee has granted over 2,000 wishes servicing 38 counties. Nationally, Make-A-Wish grants a wish every 34 minutes and has granted more than 300,000 wishes in the United States since its inception in 1980.
“We are excited to be back for Stars for Wishes this year! Wishes have an incredible impact on wish kids and their families and, right now, about 250 local children with critical illnesses are waiting for their wish to come true,” said Beth Torres, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee. “Wishes give children renewed hope and strength during a difficult time in their lives. That is why the support of Chef Jamie, Connor, our sponsors, and all our attendees is so important and meaningful. We are grateful for their time, talents, and contributions to help us grant life-changing wishes.”
