Jingle all the way to Gaylord Opryland this holiday season for a venture packed with holiday fun.
From November 8 to January 4., Gaylord Opryland’s 41st A Country Christmas event offers a plethora activities, attractions, and amazing views.
“This year, we are thrilled to welcome guests to our signature attraction, ICE!, featuring Frosty the Snowman. It’s been 11 years since the resort featured this ICE! theme, so we are excited to bring back this classic holiday story as part of our event,” says Tom Petrillo, general manager and managing director of Gaylord Opryland Resort. “Guests can also look forward to stunning holiday-inspired décor, a brand-new dinner show series, including performances by country music star Terri Clark and the popular band The Frontmen, as well as variety of attractions like Mrs. Claus’ North Pole Breakfast, photos with Santa, ice skating, ice tubing, gingerbread decorating, and so much more. We look forward to spreading Christmas cheer throughout the Nashville community during this year’s holiday season.”
The beloved frozen attraction, ICE!, delivers an enchanting experience including 11 immersive scenes, stunning ice sculptures, and more slides than ever before, making it a festive highlight for families. The six, two-story ice slides and kids’ peek-a-boo slides are sure to excite. Inside, guests can also visit an artisan performing live carving demonstrations. The ICE! experience concludes in a separate area dedicated to the Nativity scene, meticulously carved, and shaped into a dramatic display of crystal-clear ice.
In addition to ICE!, this year’s holiday celebration features a brand-new “A Country Christmas Dinner Show” series headlined by legendary artist Terri Clark and acclaimed group, The Frontmen. Guests can enjoy Clark’s “It’s Christmas...Cheers!” show and The Frontmen’s “Holidays & Hits” show, both held in the Tennessee Ballroom on select dates through November and December. Clark’s performances will blend her popular hits with classic holiday favorites, while The Frontmen will delight audiences with a mix of their iconic songs and festive tunes.
Beyond the host of must-see attractions and activities, there are endless photo opportunities around the resort. Gaylord Opryland truly decks the halls, showcasing more than five million twinkling lights, elaborately themed Christmas trees, including a fully adorned 48- foot tree, 15,000 poinsettias, 15 miles of green garland, and 10 miles of hand-tied ribbon. Some visit just to soak in the festivities and rock around the Christmas tree. Whatever adventure you choose, long-lasting memories are made at Music City’s very own winter wonderland.
“Gaylord Opryland Resort is honored to welcome guests to our 41st annual A Country Christmas event. For over two decades, we have welcomed families from near and far to celebrate the season with us,” Petrillo says. “We look forward to continuing to be the magical destination where families create unforgettable holiday memories for years to come.”
