Bad Axe Throwing was founded by CEO Mario Zelaya in the fall of 2014. Originally built in Ontario, Canada Bad Axe Throwing has expanded across Canada and the United States with more than forty locations.
The Nashville location has several lanes that are twelve- by twenty-feet, where you will first sign a waiver then be paired up with an 'expert axe thrower.' They will teach you how to properly handle the axe, as well as several techniques on how to throw the axe and how to aim for a bullseye.
Plus, enjoy a full bar with curated custom cocktails and local draft beers and munch bar bites like a charcuterie board, chicken bites, a soft pretzel and more. Blue Ox, their full service restaurant also serves a Northwoods-inspired menu with a southern twist.
Book a lane in advance here or walk in. Axe throwing costs $25 an hour per person. The location is open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 11 p.m.
