When it comes to winning, George is no stranger to the life of prestige; he is also the proud recipient of an AKC dog show Grand Championship title. Get to know more about this adorable award-winner below.
How old is George?
George is 5 years old and will turn 6 on July 3. Being born so close to the Fourth of July, he was named after George Washington.
Tell us about how you got George and your initial reaction meeting him?
George was born in our home to dad Luke and mom Bentley and was one of seven puppies. I knew the moment I helped deliver him that he was something special. Chinese Cresteds’ skin and hair color can change, sometimes drastically, as they get older. George was adorable as a puppy, but he is even more beautiful today.
How many brothers and sisters does George have?
George lives with several other Chinese Cresteds including his mother Bentley and his daughter Evie, and two Chihuahuas.
What are George’s favorite activities?
George loved to strut his stuff at AKC dog shows where he obtained his Grand Championship title. He is also a father to several champion offspring. These days, he loves chasing squirrels, squeaky toys, and playing with his mother and daughter in the yard. He chases his daughter while his mother chases him. It’s hilarious to see all three generations playing together.
How would you describe George’s personality?
George is sweet, gentle, and easy-going. He loves to jump up off the ground into your arms to give you a hug.
What’s his favorite snack?
Anything and everything, but he especially loves kettle corn.
How has your life changed since bringing George into it?
Having George has brought me friends from around the world who share our love for Chinese Cresteds. Dogs teach us to love unconditionally.
Where are George’s favorite spots to visit in Nashville?
On warm, sunny days in Nashville, you may find George taking a long walk at Radnor Lake or hanging out with his owners at bartaco in 12 South. However, most days he just likes finding a sunny spot at home to stretch out and work on his tan.
