Padel Haus, a New York City-based padel club, will open in the summer of 2024 in Nashville.
The eight-court indoor club will open at 502 W Thompson Lane and will be the company’s biggest location yet. The 39,000-square-foot facility will also feature a juice bar, premium locker rooms, rain showers, a rock climbing wall, a kid’s playground, co-working space, and multiple social lounges.
“We are thrilled to be bringing Padel Haus to one of America’s most iconic cities. Nashville has undergone a real renaissance in recent years," says Santiago Gomez, founder CEO of Padel Haus. "Over the last eighteen months, we have seen just how much New York City has taken to this incredible sport, and as a creative city that thrives on new trends, I am convinced that Nashville is the ideal place to launch our first location outside of NYC. The fact that we are first to market give us a competitive advantage and an interesting challenge ahead.”
Invented in Mexico in 1969, padel is described as a mixture of tennis and squash played in a doubles format. It is played on an enclosed sixty-six-foot by thirty-three foot court, which is about one third the size of a tennis court. Players use similar balls to tennis and carbon fibre bats that have holes in them.
