One of the largest, most-respected independent jewelry companies in the nation, Diamond Cellars will open its fifth outpost (and first in Tennessee) in the Green Hills area later this year.
Diamond Cellar—family-owned jeweler based in Columbus, Ohio—will carry some of the world’s most noteworthy and glamorous brands, including Rolex, Cartier, CHANEL, Hermès, and Roberto Coin, with even more to be announced. Robert Johnson, Alex’s grandfather, founded Diamond Cellar in Columbus in 1947. R. Andrew Johnson, Alex’s father, eventually purchased the company and remains CEO.

Green Hills Mall Additions
Supplied
Green Hills Mall is growing up and filling its halls with brand new retail offerings. (Can you hear that? It’s the sound of Nashville shoppers cheering for joy.) After opening its new wing this summer (with a brand-new parking garage, hallelujah!), and adding stores like Forever 21, Warby Parker, Casper, and more, the mall is continuing its growth with a slew of fall openings. Abercrombie & Fitch and its mini-me Abercrombie Kids will bow later this fall; and Crate and Barrel is set for an as-yet not announced but rumored-to-be-soon opening. New restaurants, including the recently-opened North Italia, will add to the mall’s dining options, with CAVA (a Mediterranean fast-casual concept) and Chopt Creative Salad Co. opening later this fall.
There’s even more happening at the mall, though, with the luxury wing continuing its chic expansion. David Yurman recently moved to a luxe new space, and Louis Vuitton will renovate and move into its previous home. Gucci has also signed on to open in the wing, though no opening date have been given. In the new wing, Free People has moved from its corner spot next to Nordstrom to a larger space closer to Dillards. And Dry Goods, Aerie, American Eagle, and high-end furniture store Arhaus all have signage promoting future openings.

L&L Marketplace
Supplied
One of the most talked about new spots in town, this Charlotte Ave. industrial space will soon be home to some of the most recognizable names in town—and beyond. Nashville favorites Five Daughters Bakery and Amelia’s Flowers are set to open in the space later this fall.
Beloved bloggers Landyn Hutchinson (Living With Landyn) and Mary Lawless Lee (Happily Grey) will each open their own shops in the space. The Alchemist Hair Salon, Skin Nash, Made in Tennessee, and paint-your-own pottery shop Third Coast Clay are just a few more of the many businesses planning to open their doors in the space later this year.
The space also promises a food hall with a common seating area and dedicated outdoor patio for events, such as film showings. The former Se-Ling Hosiery Mill is being developed by property owner Tamay Ozari and Jon Petty and Greg Coleman of Southeast Venture.
“We spent two years curating the best possible tenant mix, and I am very proud of what we have accomplished,” Petty said in a statement. “Nashville needed a true marketplace concept, and Tamay's vision, along with a lot of hard work from his team, has made this project a true success."
