Diptyque is opening a boutique in Green Hills.
The new space echoes the spirit of the original boutique at 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris and embodies the originality that has defined Diptyque since 1961.
Once past the iconic green façade crowned by the Diptyque logo and natural linen window drapes, visitors to the Green Hills boutique can discover each Diptyque collection, from the home collection of scented candles with floral, woody, spicy, and herbaceous notes, to fragrances and the skincare collection. The fragrance counter, which spans the entire length of the salon’s wall, is dominated by a vast mural, the work of artist Katelyn Roebuck, inspired by the native plants of Tennessee.
With a mix of charming Parisian details and local decorative traditions, the boutique blends moldings typical of Haussmann apartments with displays of local plants. In the entrance, an oak bookcase showcasing the Home collection frames the herbarium and candle range. The Art of Body Care collection, presented on a cascade of shelves, leads to the art of gifting area, painted orange and set back like an independent salon. The wood parquet flooring, grand mural, and colorful furniture are like pieces in a collector’s house or cabinet of curiosities.
