As a Belmont student crafting custom jewelry pieces from her bedroom, Emily Eggebrecht never would have imagined that her company, Consider the Wldflwrs, would blossom into what it has become seven years later. From a business that began strictly online to her latest location-a chic, flagship store in East Nashville-Consider the Wldflwrs has evolved into a uniquely personal shopping experience.
Consider the Wldflwrs offers fine jewelry, custom designs, restoration, and repair. The flagship store felt like the perfect move to further the growth of Eggebrecht’s vision, and to help meet the needs of her customers. It’s the only jewelry store in East Nashville to offer traditional jewelry repair and engravings in addition to custom designs, and Eggebrecht is grateful to bring a much-needed service to the area.

Whether it’s replacing a watch battery, traditional engagement ring upkeep, or restoring a beloved family heirloom, Eggebrecht’s mission is always to provide her clients with a uniquely personal experience in order to, “get the piece back on to your person; not in your jewelry box.”
The desire to provide original jewelry that is non-traditional and highly personal comes to fruition through Eggebrecht’s hand-crafted designs, as well those from the 15-plus designers to choose from, there is something for everyone and every occasion at this East Nashville gem.
In addition to the beautiful selection of everyday pieces, Consider Bridal, Consider the Wldflwrs’ hand-crafted, in-house jewelry line, draws in future brides and grooms from across Nashville and beyond. Eggebrecht especially treasures the opportunity to personally meet with couples and create the custom ring of their dreams.
“Doing stones is fun because sometimes people will say, ‘I have rings from this grandma, and this grandma, and then his mom gave me these, and I want to combine all of them into my engagement ring.’ So, we’ll pull all the stones that we need, we’ll maybe add color if they want that, and really just sit down and work with them,” she says.
Beyond the front room of Consider the Wldflwrs, which is lined with pristine cases of elegant jewelry collections to peruse, are two more intimate spaces where the magic and creativity really begin.
Eggebrecht knows that each person’s dream ring is unique to them; she believes collaborating with customers in a comfortable, relaxed environment is the key to transforming their vision into a tangible reality to be cherished for life.
“We really love to get to know the customer. If you want to combine this part of this ring, and this part of this ring, and make it your own, that’s always really special. It’s a once in a lifetime thing, too, so a lot of times people are giddy and so excited that we have champagne,” Eggebrecht says. “We try to make that really special for them, really relaxed.”

She says the new East Nashville location fully encompasses the shopping experience her guests are looking for.
“We wanted people to have this full shopping experience, like, ‘Let me come to the shop, maybe I can get some shoes next door, or get some food.’ If they want to even think about their purchase, they can walk around and come back,” she says of the surrounding shops and restaurants.
Throughout her professional journey—from her bedroom, to a rented desk at Fort Houston, to the shared facilities she worked in, and ultimately, her East Nashville move—Eggebrecht remained open to change by simply listening to what the customers wanted and continuously evolving to accommodate accordingly. Taking chances, learning an endless array of skills, and remaining open to any opportunity that comes her way is the foundation of her business—right down to its name.
“Consider the Wldflwrs is from a Bible verse. I really love it because it’s just kind of like, ‘Don’t worry about what you’re going to do tomorrow, just do what you’re going to do today,’” she says. “That mindset in business has really helped me be able to take risks. It’s become my motto.”
