Student designer Jaedyn Black measures transplant recipient Shelly Cleek
On Wednesday, April 26 , Belmont's O’More College of Architecture and Design will present their annual O'More Fashion Show.
Fashion design students are paired with a transplant recipient or a donor family member to design and create a custom look for them to model in the show. Transplant recipients and advocates will model in clothing that reflects their experience of The Gift of Life. The show is also partnering with Daybreak Arts, a social enterprise non-profit (founded by a Belmont graduate) that creates artistic and economic opportunities for people experiencing housing insecurity and providing them access to creative resources. Articles of clothing created with the Daybreak artist collaborators will serve to raise funds and awareness for Daybreak’s organization.
