Louis Vuitton has officially reopened in the Mall at Green Hills with a new look, thanks in part, to a Music City makeover. From the expansion in square footage, to its unique new features, the redesigned store proves that bigger and better go hand-in-hand.
The newly renovated store is an ode to Louis Vuitton’s rich history and savoir-faire, accomplished through unique architectural and interior design elements. But it’s not just the posh design of the new store that will delight shoppers. Thanks to an expansion in square footage, guests can look forward to a larger selection of LV’s signature shoes, ready-to-wear lines, watches, and jewelry.
The new space also offers up some oh-so-Nashville details.
Located on the main floor is the Music Trunk. A live performance space replicating Louis Vuitton’s iconic steamer trunk, this special space is the first and only feature of its kind in America. The trunk is made of Beachwood, which matches the traditional material used to construct the brand’s heritage trunks. This unique event space combines the best of Louis Vuitton’s history with the beloved culture of Music City.

But the Nashville connections don’t stop there. The store also features work by local artisans.
Miranda Herrick’s three-panel artwork is displayed throughout the store. Her pieces are inspired by the beauty of stained-glass windows, and made with post-consumer aluminum cans to create a color palette that mimics sunlight streaming through a stained-glass window, giving the space a bright and beaming vibe.
In the men’s shoes and women’s leather goods spaces, guests will discover furniture by Masaya & Co. The Nashville based-company, which started as a restoration project dedicated to sustainability, created pieces for the store that were handwoven using sustainably-sourced materials.
In celebration of the reopening—and in true Music-City fashion—the company partnered with Gibson to create two custom guitars built on the values of unparalleled craftsmanship and innovation that both Gibson and LV share.
One guitar features the famous Louis Vuitton Monogram logo, and the other is emblazoned with the historical, graphic Louis Vuitton ‘V.’ Both of these limited-edition, 1959 Gibson Les Paul guitars are fully customized with mother of pearl fretboard inlays, a custom Louis Vuitton “LV” logo in the first fret, and hand painted artwork by one of Louis Vuitton’s skilled in-house artisans.
A nod to Nashville in the midst of luxe Louis? That’s music to our ears.
