The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, has officially opened its doors today in Nashville's vibrant SoBro neighborhood.
Developed and owned by The Pizzuti Companies, the 297-room hotel features various upscale dining concepts, a stunning rooftop pool and lounge, an enviable art collection, and a full service spa and salon.
“We are thrilled to announce the completion of The Joseph and believe this project will leave a lasting impression on our guests both emotionally and intellectually,” says Joel Pizzuti, President of The Pizzuti Companies.
The Vanderbilt University alumnus feels a deep connection to the city, adding, “Nashville is a place of great significance to our family, and the city continues to evolve – through its music, architecture, design, art and culinary scene. Our team is grateful for the opportunity to add to Nashville’s vibrance, and we are enthusiastic about bringing a refined sense of place and comfort to locals and those visiting from other parts of the country and world.”
With guests’ utmost wellbeing at heart, the property launches with finely honed service, custom amenities and experiences ideally suited for those in search of an enriched stay that is at once rooted in wellness and distinction.
The Joseph's culinary program is led by James Beard Award winning chef Tony Mantuano and wine and hospitality expert Cathy Mantuano. Well known for their decades of Michelin-starred leadership at Chicago's Spiaggia, the duo has relocated to Nashville with the hopes of bringing “la bella figura” — Italy’s beautiful way of living—to Music City. The property's food and beverage outlets will include signature restaurant Yolan, rooftop lounge Denim, an espresso bar, Italian-style tea service, and more.

In bringing Nashville's rich layers to life through the hotel's build, design, and amenities, it was important to the team at The Joseph to also curate standout cultural experiences for guests in search or rarity, privacy, and—during these times—safety. Some of these experiences include private shopping with Billy Reid, bespoke boot designing with Lucchese, and an unparalleled art program featuring over 1,000 custom curated pieces including paintings, sculptures, chandeliers, digital, mixed media, and more. All guest rooms will also celebrate some of Nashville's most beloved brands in the mini-bar selections including Olive & Sinclair, Poppy & Peep, Colts Chocolates, and Bearded Iris Brewing.
To celebrate its opening, the property is offering a special package: The Joseph: Revealed. This limited-time experience includes a five-course chef's tasting menu for two at Yolan, two 60-minute spa treatments at Rose, daily breakfast for two and complimentary valet parking. The Joseph: Revealed package starts at $629 per night, and reservations are available now through October 31, 2020.
