When honoring someone as inspirational as the iconic performer Glen Campbell, what could be more fitting than a museum by day, live music venue by night—right in the heart of Music City?
Located at the corner of Broadway and 2nd Ave., the Glen Campbell Museum and Rhinestone Stage is a utopia for music lovers to experience an immersive look into the remarkable life and career of the legendary superstar.
As a six-time GRAMMY winner; a chart-topping singer with hits like “Rhinestone Cowboy” and “Wichita Lineman;” and a renowned guitarist in The Wrecking Crew playing for Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, and many others, Campbell’s expansive career leaves much to be explored at the museum.
Fans can take in 4,000 square feet of memorabilia from Campbell’s early years on an Arkansas farm, and throughout his life and climb to stardom. Many of Campbell’s famous guitars and instruments, his extensive collection of golf paraphernalia, personal family photos, and onstage apparel are among the plethora of artifacts guests can peruse.
It’s an interactive experience for longtime fans of the performer and Glen Campbell newbies alike. Guests can listen to Campbell’s music on headphones or perform their own rendition of “Rhinestone Cowboy” in a singalong booth.

The museum feels especially personal as Campbell’s wife of 34 years, Kim Campbell, was extremely involved in helping Clearbrook Hospitality with design aspects; along with providing some of her late husband’s never-before-seen belongings.
“Having someone so close to Glen—over 30 years of marriage—she could speak to a lot of things and the importance of some of the items,” says Ric Olsen, president of Clearbrook Hospitality, LLC. “The fact that we can have Kim involved, and occasionally she’ll come by and she’ll meet and greet people, and talk, and tell stories; it’s just been wonderful.”
Invisible to the public eye, the museum displays are on rollers, making them moveable to expand the space for a variety of public and private events and transform the museum into a live entertainment venue, the Rhinestone Stage. Featuring state-of-the-art lighting and sound and a warm, intimate atmosphere, the Glen Campbell Museum and Rhinestone Stage is even available for micro-weddings for couples looking to celebrate their big day with their closest friends and family.
The museum is also being extremely cautious during this very different time in entertainment, and is following all CDC, local, state, and county COVID-19 mandates.
“We require masks, we require hand sanitizing at the door, we take a quick temperature and a quick questionnaire on symptoms, and we have a protocol of wiping everything down immediately after people leave an area,” Olsen says.
With safety in mind and one of Nashville’s most beloved performers in its heart, the Glen Campbell Museum and Rhinestone Stage is a must-visit for music enthusiasts of all ages.
“To have visitors come in, intrigued and wanting to see and revisit somebody who they admire, and walk out with a smile on their face ... it’s amazing,” says Olsen.
