The Sundance Film Festival will look a little differently this year.
The annual film festival is traditionally hosted every January in Park City, Utah, but in light of the current pandemic, has pivoted and will offer an online platform this year featuring seven days of premieres and events. Additionally, Sundance has also partnered with independent cinemas across the U.S. and beyond to safely host small, in-person events.
Among those cinemas chosen is Nashville's very own Belcourt Theatre. From January 28 to February 1, the theatre will bring back the beloved Belcourt Drive-In and premiere eight Sundance films in its parking lot. Films to be screened include "How It Ends," "The Most Beautiful Boy In The World," "Mass," "Bring Your Own Brigade," "Jockey," "The Blazing World," "Together Together," and "Judas And The Black Messiah."
Drive-in tickets go on sale to Belcourt members today, January 13 at 10 a.m. and on sale to the general public on Thursday, January 14 at 10 a.m. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit belcourt.org.
