Row 7 Dinner
Chef Sean Brock
In a press release on Monday, October 12, it was announced that renowned chef Sean Brock would be partnering with Rethink Certified to feed those experiencing food insecurity in the local Nashville community.
Rethink Certified, a national organization whose mission is to create a sustainable and equitable food system for all Americans, started its restaurant partner project at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic with the goal of reimagining how restaurants can serve as a hub for feeding those in need.
Brock's flagship restaurant Audrey will serve as Nashville's hub and meals will be delivered through various local organizations including Front Porch Ministry, Edgehill Neighborhood Partnership's The FreeStore, Room in the Inn, The Little Pantry That Could, and more. Meals will also be served from a tent in the Audrey parking lot—no questions asked—weekly on Thursday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
With the assistance of all partners, this community-based partnership will provide Nashvillians in need with 2,000 meals per week. Those interested in making a donation towards the local program can reach out to Scott Malloy at smalloy@audreynashville.com.
