This is our 25th-anniversary issue!
Twenty-five years is a long time, but it feels like yesterday. As they say, “Time flies when you’re having fun.”
Stacie Standifer started this magazine in 1999 and hired me to be the sales rep. In that first year, we were a scrappy, small team that did everything. I remember those start-up years like an old friend. I say all the time, I am grateful for my job here. I’ve been blessed to meet some incredible people, many of whom I call my friends, thanks to this magazine. I am also very thankful for the team I get to work with and the ones who worked here along the way.
This is our “silver anniversary,” and I can tell you this magazine has given me more than a few silver hairs along the way. We’ve been through so many changes: ownership, multiple office moves, Covid, and the ever- changing culture that makes Music City special. People have said “print is dead,” but I cannot disagree more. I live this life. We are thriving because we are a brand for the best city in America. This magazine isn’t dying; it is growing.
Our mission is to introduce you to people who make Nashville special, to take you to the new places that you should experience, from the arts to the great restaurants. We do that through our pages, through our social media, e-newsletters, our website, and more than 20 events that we do annually. People who work here, and have worked here for 25 years, take this mission seriously. I think Nashville Lifestyles is a little bit of what makes Nashville special, from Downtown to Brentwood, Green Hills to East Nashville, Music Row to Franklin, and all the spots in between. We are your lifestyle.

From the Editor
The first magazine and event I was involved in with Nashville Lifestyles when I started interning here in 2019 was Most Beautiful People.
I have worked on every Most Beautiful People issue since, and it’s always a blast, but this year’s issue is my first one as editor, and it really is such a crazy, full-circle moment. This year also marks our 25th-anniversary issue. The five years I’ve been with Nashville Lifestyles seem small compared to this milestone, but I’m so proud to be a part of something that has reached so many people in our community (and beyond) for 25 years, and I’m looking forward to all the ways we will continue to be a staple in Music City for all the years to come.
You will meet some truly exceptional people in this issue. From Nashville natives to newcomers, the people who comprise our 25th-anniversary group exemplify beauty inside and out. I had the pleasure of meeting each of them at our photoshoot with the incredible Robby Klein, and I can honestly say I have never felt so much genuine kindness and positivity. Each honoree reminded me why we do this issue: to shine a light on the people who make others’ lives brighter just by being who they are.
One of those 25 people is our cover star, Tanner Adell. We witnessed her star power firsthand during our photoshoot, and it’s easy to see why the camera loves her (seriously, she cannot take a bad picture if she tried) as much as her fans do. The singer-songwriter is not only stunning, but her talent is undeniable, her charisma is contagious, and she is paving her own path in country music as a force to be reckoned with by being authentically Tanner.
We also have an interview with Meredith Seacrest Leach, who is doing beautiful, inspiring work every day alongside her brother Ryan Seacrest through the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. The sibling duo has taken on an exciting new project with the release of their first-ever picture book, The Make-Believers, inspiring children to dream big and shoot for the stars.
Plus, our music writer, Chris Parton, caught up with our former Most Beautiful People cover star Tiera Kennedy to get the scoop on her highly anticipated debut album, ROOTED. The star discusses overcoming setbacks to get where she is today, and it’s a story you won’t want to miss. Of course, we’re bringing you plenty of ways to spend these beautiful fall days, too, including some new must-visit restaurants, festive fall events, and two gorgeous Asheville properties for a dreamy weekend getaway.
Thank you for being on this journey with us, whether you’ve been a reader for 25 years or are picking up this magazine for the first time. Cheers, Nashville!
