With Music City’s ever-changing landscape, visiting parts of town you don’t always frequent can feel like discovering a hidden gem for the very first time. We’ve rounded up five Nashville neighborhoods to fall in love with all over again. Check out one of the neighborhoods below:
Edgehill Village
Edgehill, one of our city’s rapidly evolving neighborhoods, is situated just blocks away from historic Music Row— the heart and soul of our entertainment industry where the recording studios that produce some of the world’s greatest hits blend in seamlessly with the surrounding residential community. That same charm carries over into Edgehill, a quaint neighborhood relatively small in size but bursting with modern personality and historic charm.
Local hotspots like Old Glory, located in what was once the boiler room for one of Nashville’s largest steam cleaning facilities, White Way Cleaners, encompasses the eclectic persona that Edgehill exudes. The bar features the original electrical boxes, coal hopper, and smokestack that were used in the 1920’s to create an environment unlike anywhere else in town. Barcelona Wine Bar is another neighborhood favorite for wining and dining. Like Old Glory, the Spanish inspired tapas bar opened its doors in 2016, and continues to attract locals and visitors alike.

Much like Nashville itself, the neighborhood of Edgehill is a study in changing landscapes with familiar favorites. The arrival of new businesses brings a fresh feel to the historic neighborhood, offering tasty treats and retail must-visits. The newly opened Sadie’s, a casual fine dining all-day café, anchors Edgehill’s most bustling strip of shops and eateries. With American fare influenced by Mediterranean flavors, a sun-soaked patio, and strikingly hip interior, Sadie’s exemplifies the welcoming nature of the neighborhood with a dash of whimsy.
A variety of new shops continue to push the neighborhood to new heights, as well. Businesses like Aesop, Haven, Warby Parker, Vow’d, Billy Reid, Alton Lane, and Ralph Lauren’s Double RL have taken up residence in Edgehill, offering a range of shopping options for every interest. Another neighborhood newcomer is Teressa Foglia Hat Studio + Shop. The distinguished modern milliner has opened locations in New York City, Brooklyn, Malibu, Laguna Beach, and Houston. And when the opportunity to open a location in Nashville arose, Foglia knew the Edgehill location was a perfect fit.
“We love the music and style culture of Nashville,” she says. “It’s home to some of our favorite restaurants—and our friends are always up for a trip to visit the shop with us.”
