Fisk University, Nashville’s oldest Historically Black University (HBCU), will feature award-winning ABC News correspondent Deborah Roberts and renowned NBC weather anchor, Al Roker, as co-speakers for the university's historic 150th commencement ceremony on May 6.
As a seasoned media veteran, Deborah Roberts has explored the world as a reporter, and she has won multiple Emmy® Awards. Roberts has been honored for her exceptional contributions to international and national news coverage. Al Roker, a familiar presence in households nationwide, is a respected journalist, author, lauded television personality, renowned meteorologist, and recipient of the American Meteorological Society's prestigious Seal of Approval award.
Dr. Agenia W. Clark, President of Fisk University, has fostered a longstanding relationship with Roker and Roberts and is honored to host the two iconic figures at the university.
