To-Go Presents: Greyson Anderson and more
Greyson Anderson, a native of Nashville TN, has been writing songs and playing in bands since 10 years old. His previous projects, Kiddo and Dogs of Oz, were young staples of the local Nashville scene, catching the attention of Kenny Vaughan of Marty Stuart And His Fabulous Superlatives and Lincoln Parish, formerly of Cage The Elephant, both of whom separately produced EP’s for each band. Here’s his current take: “What was always important to me and the thing I was in love with was good songs. I always loved bands and artists that were song forward. Whether it was The Replacements, Lucinda Williams, The Everly Brothers or the bands I was exposed to growing up here in Nashville. All of those bands and artists had really great songs. So it’s the same mission and inspiration for me, just wanting to write stuff I love first and foremost and pushing myself as a songwriter. Why not be ambitious while the world’s burning down, ya know?”
