Guitarist and singer-songwriter Jim Hurst’s distinctive guitar style combines flatpicking and fingerstyle techniques. He has won the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Guitar Player of the Year award twice and has played with Holly Dunn, Sara Evans, Claire Lynch and Trisha Yearwood. Hurst will be joined by band members Beth Lawrence on bass, Kyle Triplett on banjo, Christian Ward on fiddle and Matt Wingate on mandolin. Presented as part of the annual Museum celebration Bluegrass and Beyond, supported by Rick and Kit Crump in honor of George A. and Marjorie S. Crump.
