Bluegrass band East Nash Grass formed just northeast of Nashville, in Madison, Tennessee, and comprises of mandolin player Harry Clark, who has performed with the Dan Tyminski Band and the Wooks; fiddler Maddie Denton, who was 2016’s Grand Master Fiddler Champion; guitarist James Kee, longtime host of Bluegrass Wednesdays at Nashville’s American Legion Inglewood Post 82; dobro player Gaven Largent, who has played with Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper and Dailey & Vincent; bassist Jeff Picker, who has performed with Sarah Jarosz, Nickel Creek and Country Music Hall of Fame member Ricky Skaggs; and banjo player Cory Walker, who has played with Jason Carter, David Grier and Tim O’Brien. Clark, Denton, Largent and Walker have all been named Instrumentalist of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Momentum Awards. East Nash Grass is the house band at Dee’s Country Cocktail Lounge in Madison and, in 2023, released the critically acclaimed album Last Chance to Win.
