Family Program: Suncatchers
Since it became home to the Grand Ole Opry in 1945, the Ryman Auditorium — originally named the Union Gospel Tabernacle and now nicknamed the "Mother Church of Country Music" — has hosted many iconic performances. Participants will take inspiration from the Ryman’s iconic stained-glass windows to create colorful suncatchers. Museum visitors can explore the museum’s permanent exhibition, Sing Me Back Home, to learn more about the Ryman Auditorium and the many artists who have performed there. (All ages)
