Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Two young children play a variety of percussion instruments.
Sing, dance, and play as a family at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum the first Saturday of each month. Designed for families with children 5 years old and younger, the Family Jam Session is a participatory music-making experience that encourages child development through moving, singing, and listening. Family music-making promotes language acquisition and the development of cognitive, social, and motor skills—and it’s fun! Museum educators and Mr. Steve, the Music Man will lead the Family Jam Session. Mr. Steve, the Music Man has been making music with kids for more than twenty years. During his career, he has partnered with the Tennessee governor on a reading program, opened for Jack White, and in 2023 won a Mid-America Emmy for a kids music video created in partnership with Arkansas PBS. Ages 0-5. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.
