About the Family Center:
Proceeds from the event will go toward changing the lives of families and their futures in Middle Tennessee. The Family Center offers a range of evidence- or research-based programs that help break cycles of trauma in families. Recognizing that creating resilient communities starts with the relationship between children and their caretakers, the organization facilitates groups and programs that coach parents in vulnerable populations on the impact of ACEs on childhood development and how to raise resilient children. It also offers training for nonprofits, businesses, and systems like courts or jails to advance knowledge and integrate system changes related to ACEs and Trauma Informed Principles.
