House of Cards
You're not going to believe what awaits beneath the Johnny Cash Museum.(Yes, you read that right—beneath.) This one-of-a-kind, 9,500-square-foot space is the result of four years of design, planning, and craftsmanship, all of which resulted in an authentic, speakeasy ambience reminiscent of the 1930s. From the stunning, handcrafted bar to the multi-million dollar collection of art, European antiques, and magical memorabilia (including a pair of Houdini's handcuffs), House of Cards offers an unparalleled dining and entertaining experience you truly have to see to believe.
What's more, magicians Jason Michaels, Kevin King, and Chris Rayman perform on the restaurant floor at all times, and there are multiple live performances in the Magic Showroom each night.
"The magic experience in the theater was impressive, and the bar feels like you stepped back in time. I love that it's high end—there is a dress code, but there is also a ton of fun to be had," NL publisher Brian Barry says. "I can't say I've ever seen a table levitate before."
The classic, American fare complements the bar's comprehensive liquor and cocktail selection. There's also a temperature-controlled outdoor patiothe perfect perch to enjoy a cigar from House of Card's impressive cigar humidor and private cigar lockers. Don't miss the restrooms, either, because those ceilings are covered in pure 24-karat gold leaf.
Keep in mind, there is a strict dress code and no-photography policy, and reservations are required.
