For Robbie Nowinski, E+ROSE Wellness Company was the byproduct of working for many years as a dietitian consultant and seeing firsthand the impact food choices have on health. His plant- based café concept was born out of a desire to provide convenient, healthy options, made with wholesome ingredients and integrity—that also taste great.
With six locations throughout Tennessee, it’s easy to access plant-based juices, snacks, and meals, loaded with fiber, vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients for optimal health throughout the year. “Consuming mostly plants is great for gut health, weight management, reducing inflammation, anti-aging and so much more,” explains Nowinski. “Our bodies process an unfathomable amount of chemical reactions every single day, and in simplest terms, plants help make sure these happen efficiently and effectively.”
It’s a team effort: Many different minds and hands go into creating everything on the menus at E+ROSE, like this power-packed smoothie, the Cabo Surf. It’s easy to prepare, full of vitamin C, and the addition of healthy fats helps reduce cravings, and provides brain fuel. “Starting the day with a plethora of fruits and veggies is a sure way to nourish your body with the vitamins and minerals it needs,” Nowinski says. “It is hydrating, satiating, and full of good stuff to get you going and keep you going.”
Whether you’re focused on plant-based eating or simply developing healthier habits in the new year, Nowinski offers this valuable advice:
“Eat real, whole foods and don’t stress yourself out if you eat something not so great for you. Just try to make a better choice next time. The cliche that “Rome wasn’t built in a day” really rings true for eating habits. One bad meal isn’t going to ruin you, but continuous bad eating habits over time can and most likely will. So, start simple and add on as you go. Maybe start with one meal a day that you make a better choice with (like a smoothie instead of a bagel) and continue to make changes from there.”
