Postino, an all-day restaurant and wine bar, is opening in Nashville this fall.
Slated to open in the 12 South neighborhood, the 3,780-square-foot space will offer a 135-seat restaurant, including a sixty eight-seat outdoor patio, and eclectic design elements. The vibrant kicked back space was once the South Eastern Radio and Television Institute, so the Postino team has designed an art wall dedicated to vintage TV’s, drawing inspiration from MTV’s first music video, the Bungles “Video Killed The Radio Star.” Open daily for lunch and dinner, Postino will pour a wide variety of Tennessee craft brews, alongside more than thirty wines by the glass, and seven cocktails. When it comes to food, Postino has a decked-out menu of bruschetta, paninis, salads, and a lineup of charcuterie boards and shareables.
“There is so much to love about Nashville and everyone on the Postino team is very excited to soon be a part of this thriving community,” says Postino co-founder and CEO, Lauren Bailey. “We just knew that 12 South was a neighborhood that we wanted to be a part of.”
Postino draws its name from the Italian word for postman, an homage to the former 1940’s post office where the first Postino was born more than twenty years ago.
“We hope that Postino will serve as a go-to neighborhood hangout in 12 South and we look forward to seeing the friendly faces in Nashville,” Bailey says. “We can’t wait to showcase everything that Postino has to offer when we open our doors this fall.”
Postino will be located at 2317 12th Ave S.
