Famed New York City restaurateur Anthony Scotto has announced Luogo, his newest restaurant concept slated to open in Nashville in late 2022.
Following three decades of success at the iconic Fresco by Scotto, Luogo is Anthony Scotto’s first solo venture outside of NYC. The restaurant will be located in The Gulch and will serve authentic yet upscale Italian fare, featuring Scotto’s signature Mediterranean flair.
“Like many New Yorkers, my family and I have fallen in love with Music City and it’s hospitality community — after years of frequent visits, we already feel like Nashville is home,” says Scotto. “We’re looking forward to settling into Nashville’s exciting and dynamic restaurant scene.”
Luogo will rotate its menu seasonally, offering fresh spins on Italian dishes. In lieu of red checkered tablecloths, Luogo will serve its menu of comfort classics and coastal inspirations in a modern and elegant setting, with menu highlights including grilled pizza Margherita, veal and chicken bolognese and eggplant and zucchini pie. Aside from dinner service, the restaurant will also offer weekend brunch and a weekday lunch, too. As a nod to a longstanding Scotto family tradition, Luogo’s weekly Sunday Supper, will serve family-style dishes such as Anthony’s Sunday sauce. Rounding out Luogo’s menu will be a refined dessert selection and extensive wine and cocktail lists.
