It's time again for the crack of the bat and the aromas of roasted peanuts to emanate from the cozy confines of First Tennessee Park, the home of the Nashville Sounds. For its second season of operation, the stadium's concessions management company, Centerplate, will again work with consultants from Strategic Hospitality (The Catbird Seat, Pinewood Social) to create a special eating, drinking, and spectating experience at The Band Box in right field.
With seating options ranging from four-top tables with dedicated servers to a lounge filled with couches to a raucous bar scene where patrons occasionally have to be informed that the game is over, The Band Box combines Strategic's knack for producing a fun environment with Centerplate's take on elevated ballpark fare. Pair an order of smoked chicken nachos or a haute hot dog from Porter Road Butcher with this boozy slushie made with Old Forester bourbonit's a grown-up version of the traditional seventh-inning stretch snack.
