Barrel Proof, a neighborhood bar in New Orleans, will open a location in Nashville in late summer/early fall.
Partners Liam Deegan, Jason Sorbet, and Robert LeBlanc will bring the warm, engaging, and fun atmosphere to Germantown, which will feature a robust beverage list including hundreds of whiskies with a particular focus on Tennessee brands. The cocktail list, designed by Sorbet, will feature classic cocktails prepared with unpretentious techniques alongside a diverse selection of craft beer, wines, and other spirits. Chef Todd Pulsinelli will spearhead the culinary offerings with late-night bites including their signature cheeseburger and fries, which are handmade in-house.
The relaxed space will be simple yet with high-quality features, locally-sourced wood from Tennessee, and metal finishes that speak to the history and essence of Nashville. Moody lighting will also be used throughout the space and the extensive collection of whiskey will be the centerpiece of the design.
