Located in Marathon Village, Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery recently opened a whiskey-forward bar and restaurant as part of its exciting, reimagined distillery.
The restaurant distillery features a full-service bar that offers a selection of flights and creative cocktails crafted with Nelson’s delicious bourbons and whiskeys, as well as their new house-made vodka and gin. One of our favorites is the Peach & Thyme Smash; a refreshing sipper sure to satisfy your tastebuds. And when you’re craving the comforts of home this season, mix up one of these bourbon bevies to enjoy all season long.
PEACH & THYME SMASH
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Nelson Brothers
- Classic Bourbon
- 1 oz peach syrup (equal parts peach puree and simple syrup)
- 3⁄4 oz lemon juice
- 1 sprig of thyme
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice and shake until chilled.
- Double strain into a rocks glass over pebble ice and garnish with additional thyme.
