The Twelve Thirty Club, helmed by twelve-time James Beard Award nominee and restaurant innovator Sam Fox, alongside partner, music superstar Justin Timberlake, is a multifaceted venue that combines everything great about Nashville: the music, the food and drink, and the people.
But it’s the swanky and distinctive atmosphere, and the unrivaled cuisine that puts this three-story, Upper Broadway hotspot a cut above the rest. Just across from Bridgestone Arena, The Twelve
Thirty Club is quickly becoming one of the city’s most sought after spots—a true downtown destination that allows you to feel the pulse of Music City course through your veins. Step inside from the hustle and bustle of Broadway to a space that is playful yet refined—an elevated Honky Tonk—but one that says, ‘come as you are.’ The laidback atmosphere is outfitted with a centrally located bar and seating for both smaller and larger parties alike, and the menu highlights passed plates for the table. Starters include pork belly dumplings, crispy umami Brussels sprouts, and salt-crusted warm soft pretzels with provolone fondue for dipping. Entrees range from burgers and grilled fish tacos to a fried chicken sandwich and green chile pork stew.
Make your way up the staircase to catch a glimpse at the mezzanine level where an intimate fifty-person cocktail lounge welcomes the club’s honorary members for exclusive events. But just beyond that is the venue’s crown jewel. The top level of the restaurant, the Supper Club, feels worlds away from the craziness of Broadway below. Moody, sophisticated vibes envelop you as you step into the dimly lit space. While the restaurant seats 400 guests at a time, the intimacy of each table is defined by the soft glow of flickering candles, creating a quiet space for couples and groups to cozy up on plush velvet seating for a night of dinner and dancing.
Designed by award-winning interior design firm, AvroKO, the Supper Club level takes inspiration from the Prohibition Era. Think speakeasy with a touch of luxury. When you’re done taking in the sexy scenery, feast your eyes on the menu with starters like the buttermilk focaccia and pesto, short rib pot stickers, and steak tartare to share. Relish in fresh fish from the seafood and sushi bar by way of a chilled seafood tower, complete with oysters on the half shell, lobster, shrimp, and king crab. Entrees are a bit more upscale than traditional Honky Tonks’ offerings, with options like grilled ahi tuna and crispy stuffed chicken. And if you’re in the mood for a steak, there are a variety of prime and center cuts, bone-in, and grass-fed beef from which to choose. Diners take note: Skip the sides and choose Sam’s Famous Garlic Butter Noodles, best served over your selected steak.
The drink menu has an equally eclectic bounty with cocktails to please all palates; in addition, the impressive wine collection of more than 1,800 bottles housed in a custom-built wine wall takes the cake. The collection is curated to feature both popular varietals and lesser-known names from wine regions all over the world.
Just beyond the dapper Supper Club the open-air rooftop opens up to unparalleled views of Broadway and the neon lights below. With its own cocktail menu and the option for table service (by reservation only), it’s the perfect spot for late-night drinks with friends.
It doesn’t matter which level of The Twelve Thirty Club you’re on, with a killer atmosphere, music every night of the week, and impeccable dining options on every floor, this all-encompassing new Nashville experience is a rare gem on the Music City scene.
