On Tuesday, September 24, over 250 people gathered at The Parthenon in Nashville as MAPCO, a guest-focused chain of 345 convenience stores, celebrated its donation of over $400,000 to children's charities with its team members and corporate partners.
The event was part of MAPCO's third Giveback Tournament, a two-day signature event of the company's corporate social responsibility program that raises funds to benefit local youth health, advocacy, and education non-profits and charitable organizations within the company's footprint.
The Giveback Tournament raised funds predominantly for four charities, Monroe Carroll Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Nashville Predators Foundation, and Children's Miracle Network. It was supported by corporate partners Pepsi, Valero Energy Corporation, Frito Lay, Krispy Krunchy Chicken, Coca Cola, Keurig, Dr Pepper, and Core-Mark, among many others. Attendees to Tuesday’s partner celebration dinner included MAPCO CEO Hal Adams and representatives from the many generous partners.
