Each year, Pantone, the company known for its custom color matching system, names its Color of the Year. For 2020 that honor was bestowed upon Classic Blue (aka Pantone 19-4052). The company notes that the timeless and enduring shade is suggestive of the sky at dusk, and that the hue is a restful and tranquil one. 

“We are living in a time that requires trust and faith,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Pantone’s executive director. “It is this kind of constancy and confidence that is expressing by Pantone 19-4052 Classic Blue, a solid and dependable blue hue we can always rely on.”
