Like the summer temps, Nashville and its burbs’ hot housing market is on the rise.
Take 1409 Montmorenci Pass in Brentwood, for example. The 8,131 square-foot, five-bed and eight-bath house sold the very first day it went on the market. As a matter of fact, it was under contract within eighteen hours. And it’s no surprise that this exquisite Brentwood beauty was snatched up so quickly.
Behind a gated community and perched alongside the wood line, the quiet escape and view from both the house and yard are serene. But it’s what is on the inside that makes this home so spectacular. Custom designed and crafted by Trace Construction, it was originally built as the builder’s personal home. The open concept floor plan has unique touches and high-end, luxurious finishes that make it stand out from its neighbors.
The master wing occupies the entirety of the left side of the first floor, creating a separate haven from the rest of the living space. Two walk-in closets flank the bedroom, and the master bath, complete with a giant shower, soaking tub, and a mirror-turned-TV round out the space to create a spa-like oasis. Ample amounts of light shine through several windows, but with one touch of a button black-out draperies darken the room to create a moody ambiance.
The heart of the home boasts a dreamy workspace to prep any meal—a spot where a kitchen aficionado can whip up their signature dish to delight a crowd of guests. The light gray cabinetry and dual, darker-colored islands are balanced out by the cathedral height, and the transom windows that let just enough light in to spill over into the dining area. The quartz countertop and wall behind the stove bounce contrasting colors off the warm hues of the space, and while the stark kitchen itself might be deceiving, don’t be fooled: Appliances, including two refrigerators, an ice maker, and coffee machine, are tucked behind cabinetry to create clutter-free countertops.
Just off the kitchen is a butler’s pantry with a full freezer and more storage space, and oenophiles fret not: The home was built not only with a wine fridge, but also a wine room adjacent to the kitchen. The homeowners can store plenty of their favorite varietals behind glass doors, which creates a stunning focal point in the home.
Also on the main floor is the movie/recreation room where the whole family can kick back, relax, and lounge—complete with shuffleboard, a poker table, and several TVs. The living space extends outdoors with an indoor/outdoor bar setup, creating a perfect entertaining flow. The private backyard is a spectacular outdoor oasis of its own, featuring an inground pool with surrounding chaise lounges, a grilling station for backyard barbecues, and even a putting green to perfect that short game. At the end of the day, cozy up to a large outdoor fireplace, perfect for making s’mores and relaxing under the stars.
Back inside, the second floor features two more bedrooms and a multipurpose room. Kids will love claiming this spot for toys and games, or it could be turned into a bunkroom for large groups of guests. (The home sleeps up to sixteen.) But be advised: Guests may be so captivated by the space that they won’t ever want to leave.
Immaculate design details flow throughout the home. From the transitional modern farmhouse elements and clean line to its unique touches (think: antler chandelier), architect Brad Dixon of Trace Construction and interior designer Cara Brock left no space untouched. “It’s truly an exquisite home,” says realtor and listing agent, Lisa Culp Taylor. “Trace Construction put tremendous thought into every detail.”
