Weaving the gossamer threads of an interior design project into physical reality takes a village. Sure, Architectural Digest might inspire a homeowner to recreate that mirrored bathroom featured on its glossy pages. But where does one find harmonious faucets and flooring?
Enter Nashville Design Collective, a.k.a. NDC, a group of trade professionals whose showrooms populate a 45,000-square-foot center at in Wedgewood-Houston. Business partners Anne Puricelli and Matthew Quinn created NDC as one-stop shopping for home design and renovation.
While NDC debuted in Fall 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic stalled some developments and delayed its thousand-guest grand opening to May 2020. The space continues to take shape as a hub for upscale textiles, flooring, custom cabinetry, rare antiques, kitchen and bath fittings and fixtures, home technology, and state-of-the-art lighting. Amenities include an outdoor deck, conference rooms, an event space, a casual café, and surface parking.
“It seems to be a helpful resource for builders, designers, and homeowners,” says facility manager Meredith Michel. “They can come in and see options in person, and there are some retail stores where customers can buy directly.”
Take a look at NDC’s current offerings below. The showrooms are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Two spaces remain available for leasing.
