Trisha Yearwood might be the busiest woman in music. On top of being midway through a three-year tour with her husband Garth Brooksthe couple moved back to Nashville from Oklahoma in 2014she recently wrapped the seventh season of her Food Network show (Trisha's Southern Kitchen), is recording new music (she plans to release a new record sometime in 2016), and writes cookbooks in her downtime (her third, Trisha's Table: My Feel-Good Favorites for a Balanced Life, is in stores now). Oh, and she also managed to squeeze in the launch of her inaugural furniture collection, which came out last year and took her two years to complete.
'I'm really casual, so the furniture is casual and comfortablenothing fancy but also affordable,” she says of The Trisha Yearwood Home Collection with Klaussner Home Furnishings. 'It's neat to have really been in the middle of the process. I didn't want to just put my name on someone else's idea. If I was going to do it, I really wanted to do it.”
The Trisha Yearwood Home Collection comprises 80 pieces for the entire home, including a new set of outdoor furniture. Yearwood named each piece and hue for a family member or nostalgic place from her Jasper County, Georgia upbringing (e.g. 'Troyal Blue,” Brooks' favorite color, is a play on his first name). It's available at select homes stores, including D.T. McCall & Sons and B.F. Myers.
