Shea and Reese met while attending Auburn University. After discovering that they were neighbors, Reese brought over brownies for Shea and her roommates, and that sealed the dealthe pair has been together ever since. 'I am so thankful for Auburn, Alabama, because it led this Georgia girl to a boy from Tennessee and was the perfect place to start our story,” says a gushing Shea.
The bride's vision for her wedding was classic and elegant with a touch of glam. White and beige laid the foundation for the look, along with large floral arrangements, lace linens, and soft chandelier lighting, which kept things timeless and beautiful. 'The outdoor ceremony, ballroom dinner, and outdoor tented dance
area allowed for three separate looks that were unique, yet cohesive,”
Shea explains.
The bride and groom provided guests with Toomer's lemonade (a tribute to their alma mater) prior to the reception, and the newlyweds were showered with streamers and confetti as they made their getaway beneath a fireworks display.
'My biggest advice would be to
follow your vision. You are the one
who best knows how you want
your wedding to look and feel, so
trust your gut and intuition.”
