After rekindling an old high school crush at his sister’s wedding, Matt and Michelle dated for three years before a romantic engagement at Tennessee’s Blackberry Farm.
A love of the South, country music, and the driving-distance proximity to their Indiana hometown made Nashville the ideal location for a destination wedding.
“All I dreamed of for my wedding was a beautiful dance floor to have our first dance,” Michelle noted, and Country Music Hall of Fame offered not only that, but spectacular views of the Nashville skyline.
The design for the day came from a single image of an antique loveseat surrounded by candles and covered in a rich cascade of flowers. Deep plums and burgundy contrasted with blush pinks and ivory for a vintage romantic touch. Enormous hanging floral installations and a giant chandelier over the dance floor created a cozier feel to the cavernous space, and the acrylic ghost chairs gave the décor a modern touch for balance. As a surprise, the team at Big Events, Inc. recreated the image of the floral-covered loveseat as the bride and groom’s chair at the dinner table.
“It was a perfect day, and Big Events made my vision come to life,” the bride added.
