Lauren and Jeremy were friends long before they started dating. 'Jeremy was slick! I had no clue that we actually went on ‘dates' for several weeks,” Lauren laughs. 'In the end, that was best, because he was truly my friend first.”
The couple wanted a warm, regal, and elegant celebration, which they accomplished with a color scheme of eggplant, magenta, and gold. 'Our vision for the wedding was an evening surrounded by the ones we loved and an experience that we felt represented who we were as individuals and a couple,” the bride explains.
A number of personal touches made the couple's big day even more memorable: a charm on Lauren's bouquet was inscribed with her late mother's handwriting while Jeremy's groom's cake resembled an Xbox One (a tribute to his proposal). Plus, the newlyweds had a flipbook photo station to catch quirky, candid snapshots throughout the night.
'Remember that the day is important because it marks a significant commitment in your life. Plan well and enjoy your day, but know that the best part starts after all the pomp and circumstance ends.”
