1. When and how did you meet?

It all started with Dr. Love. (But really!) We happened to sit next to each other during Dr. Love's very first class at Vanderbilt University as a Freshman in August of 2011. The class was American Music taught by Dr. Lovensheimer (aka Dr. Love). Michael couldn't help but comment on my eccentric cheetah print and hot pink laptop. If love were a flower, you could say that's when the seed was planted. We stayed side by side throughout our time at Vandy until Michael graduated in 2013. When Michael decided to stay in Nashville after graduation, we knew we were destined to live happily ever after. We currently reside in Luxembourg, where we will explore Europe together for the next 3 years.

2. Looking back on the day, what is your most vivid memory or cherished moment?

We will never forget dancing up on the stage of the symphony center before our final farewell and looking out at four generations of family and friends smiling and dancing along with us. With family living all over the world, it was an incredibly humbling feeling to see all of our loved ones in one place, celebrating with us while we had the time of our lives. Though impossible to truly capture or recreate, it is a feeling we will never forget.

3. What advice would you give to other brides-to-be?

Don’t worry, be happy. There is so much anticipation and planning before the “big day” that it can sometimes prevent you from enjoying the little moments. You will be faced with a thousand choices that all seem equally important. Trust your instincts and don’t look back. The perfect wedding is the one that is uniquely you.
