In your own words, how would you describe what you do?
I am the CEO and co-founder of Vestia Personal Wealth Advisors, a financial planning and wealth management firm exclusively serving physicians and their families. As the daughter of a physician, I’ve seen the sacrifice doctors make for their patients, and that means their own goals and priorities can be perpetually on the backburner. T hat’s why we focus on Wealth That Matters®. We help doctors use their money as a tool to create more time, freedom, and flexibility to live the life they want now, not just save for retirement. That includes helping them navigate unique financial complexities, such as contract negotiation, tax strategy, investments, retirement planning, and major life decisions. Today, Vestia serves physicians in 46 states and manages more than $1 billion in assets.
What challenges did you face early on, and what challenges are you navigating today?
I genuinely love being both a CEO and a mom, and both roles are incredibly demanding. There are always more opportunities, commitments, and responsibilities than there is time to pursue them all. I’ve learned that success isn’t about doing everything or being everything to everyone, it’s about being intentional about what really matters and giving that your full attention. “Giving my best” isn’t a fixed standard — I give the best I have to offer within the realities of that particular day, week, or season. That mindset has helped me let go of the idea that I have to do everything perfectly to be successful. My daughters are my biggest fans, and I love that they get to see f irsthand how much I enjoy my work. At the same time, they know that nothing in my life matters more to me than they do!
What advice would you offer young women who hope to follow a path similar to yours?
Be insatiably curious. Ask questions, learn constantly, and don’t be afraid to admit what you don’t know. We live in a world that is evolving incredibly quickly, and the best leaders aren’t just paying attention to where things are today, they’re trying to understand where they’re headed next. Curiosity will open more doors for you than expertise ever will because it trains you to look for possibilities instead of limitations. When an opportunity excites you and aligns with your values, raise your hand and figure it out along the way.
